Echodyne, the manufacturer of innovative, high-performance radars for government and commercial markets, announced today that it will be exhibiting at the Border Security Expo, taking place at the Henry B. Gonzalez Convention Center in San Antonio, Texas from March 11 – 12, 2020 at Booth 626.

The event brings together senior leadership from U.S. Customs and Border Protection and federal agency decision-makers to discuss how technology, international partnerships, and the political landscape impact border security.

Echodyne is a well-known technology provider for border security solutions, having participated in the inaugural class of The Department of Homeland Security’s Science and Technology Directorate Silicon Valley Innovation Program, a program working to find new technologies that strengthen national security. Echodyne’s EchoGuard 3D Surveillance Radar is also included in experimental autonomous sensor towers along US borders. EchoGuard’s compact solid-state design makes it ideal for fixed locations, such as autonomous towers, as well as temporary field operations. Once deployed, the radar operates continuously to enhance situational awareness and increase agent safety.

“Situational awareness sensors are a force multiplier,” said Eben Frankenberg, CEO of Echodyne. “Our technology helps field agents cover more territory and carry out their missions safely. EchoGuard offers advanced radar technology for border surveillance at commercial price points.”

Echodyne’s high performance radars have been selected as the primary sensor in perimeter and border surveillance solutions by nearly three dozen security integrators, many of which will also be attending the event. For more information, please visit echodyne.com/borders.
