eMoney Advisor (eMoney), a leading provider of technology solutions and
services that help people talk about money, is pleased to announce the
grand opening of its newly expanded office located on the sixth floor of
100 Westminster in downtown Providence. Rhode Island Gov. Gina M.
Raimondo, members of the Rhode Island Commerce Corporation and local
community officials will join eMoney CEO Ed O’Brien and members of the
eMoney leadership team for an official ribbon-cutting ceremony at 11
a.m. today, May 6.

In March of 2017, eMoney selected Providence as the home to its third
office and promised to bring 100 full-time jobs to Rhode Island by 2020.
The company exceeded this goal in under two years, hiring 110 employees
in various departments, including the initially targeted technical areas
of user interface and experience design, software testing and quality
engineering; plus product management, marketing, human resources, client
services, legal and finance.

“Two years ago, eMoney opened its doors in Providence with ambitious
growth goals,” said Ed O’Brien, CEO of eMoney Advisor. “Today, we’ve
exceeded those goals, which is a testament to the talent in this area
and the resources made available to us through the Rhode Island Commerce
Committee and other government-funded organizations focused on
developing the local tech community. We’re excited to be a part of this
vibrant community and remain committed to producing more job
opportunities in technology and many of the other business functions
that contribute to eMoney’s success.”

eMoney’s initial office was located on the 11th floor of 100
Westminster, which is owned and managed by Paolino Properties. Rather
than change its location completely, eMoney chose to stay in the same
building and partner with local companies Elaine Construction and Vision
3 Architects to design a new space from scratch.

At 23,000 square feet – triple the size of the former office – the new
space is designed with vibrant and airy colors in a modern, open floor
plan inspired by eMoney’s brand values of collaboration, innovation and
fun. It can accommodate more than 200 employees using open seating,
collaborative workspaces and remote work options. Additionally, the
space houses 21 huddle rooms for both informal or formal meetings, each
named after a different neighborhood in Providence; a kitchen area with
counter and table seating; 20 flat-screen TVs, which can be used as
monitors; and a game area with ping pong and video gaming.

To further enhance the aesthetics, local art adorns the walls thanks to
an ongoing partnership with the Rhode Island Council of the Arts. The
focal point is a custom eMoney mural designed by artist Lizzie $our, a
freshman at Rhode Island School of Design. Painted by hand using acrylic
paints, the bold design with eMoney’s logo at center creatively reflects
eMoney’s brand and culture.

eMoney employees moved into the space in early April while the finishing
touches were added over the past few weeks. Gov. Raimondo will offer
opening remarks at today’s ribbon-cutting ceremony to officially
commemorate the space.

“I’m thrilled that eMoney now has this beautiful, permanent office space
in our capital city,” said Gov. Raimondo. “Since they opened their
original office at 100 Westminster less than two years ago, they’ve
exceeded their hiring goals and currently employ more than 100 workers.
I look forward to their continued growth and success in Providence.”

In addition to Providence, eMoney has two other offices – its
headquarters just outside of Philadelphia in Radnor, Pa., and its West
Coast office in San Diego. It currently employs more than 700 full-time,
noncontract workers at its three locations in addition to many remote
employees throughout the U.S. To learn more about eMoney or see job
