Engagio, the leader in B2B marketing engagement software, today announces Megan Heuer has joined the team as VP of marketing. In her new role, she will lead Engagio’s marketing team and support the company’s rapid and continued growth. Specifically, she will be focused on demonstrating how customers deploy and deliver account-based engagement and measure business impact. Heuer joins the company after spending more than 11 years building the research and advisory services at SiriusDecisions (acquired earlier this year by Forrester Research).

“I’ve become an active champion for account-based business strategies because my time as an analyst and practitioner taught me there’s no better way for B2B companies to win, keep and grow the customers they want,” says Heuer. “I also know companies need the right technologies to make account-based models deliver results, and Engagio does exactly that. As an observer of the company over the last several years, I was impressed by its excellent reach and Jon Miller’s market vision. I was equally inspired by what clients had to say about Engagio, particularly why they chose it and how it’s helped them achieve growth they couldn’t before. The opportunity to work directly with this talented team was one I could not resist.”

For the last three years as Vice President, Research at SiriusDecisions, Heuer led the team of more than 80 analysts and editorial professionals who deliver guidance to B2B sales, marketing and product leaders. She founded the account-based marketing practice in 2012 and, previously, led the marketing operations practice. Prior to SiriusDecisions, Heuer’s experience includes consulting roles at Gartner, Satmetrix and the Peppers and Rogers Group. She also spent time as a marketing practitioner in tech and other B2B industries with a focus on account-based business models and customer engagement.

“When we started looking to fill our VP of marketing role, we set really high standards,” says Jon Miller, co-founder & CEO of Engagio. “We wanted someone who had a robust understanding of account-based engagement, and also was a leader in marketing, strategy and operations. Megan does far more than simply check all these boxes. Her deep knowledge in our space will be a valuable asset to Engagio and, most importantly, to our customers. We’re confident she will play a big part in driving our continued growth and gaining even more market share, as we continue working to exceed customer expectations.”

Heuer’s first official day at Engagio was December 2, and the company is thrilled to have her on board.
