Entrust Datacard was cited as the Overall Leader in analyst firm KuppingerCole’s global 2019 Leadership Compass for Consumer Authentication. The report is designed to help organizations find the technology providers with the best overall product, functionality, innovation and market vision for this category.
KuppingerCole’s comprehensive Leadership Compass compares 21 vendors across several criteria, reflecting varieties of use cases, experiences, business rules, and technical capabilities required by KuppingerCole clients, and anticipated needs. The evaluation model included overall functionality and usability, internal product and service security, size of the company, number of customers and end-user consumers, number of developers, partner ecosystem and licensing models. In addition, KuppingerCole reviewed several functional areas, including APIs, authenticators, fraud and threat intel, mobile security, risk analytics and scalability.

The report found that Entrust Datacard “leads the pack” in the Overall Leader category, and was in the leaders group in the Product Leadership, Innovation and Market leadership categories.
