ETQ, the leading quality management system (QMS) provider, today announced record customer growth in 2020. The company added a significant number of new customer accounts and expanded its relationships with existing customers thanks to high demand for its Reliance cloud-based QMS solution.

“At a universally vulnerable time, many of our customers (and their customers) are on the front lines of essential work to help keep the world’s population safe and healthy,” said Rob Gremley, CEO, ETQ. “Traditionally, when we think of ‘quality’ we think of things like avoiding recalls or building brand loyalty. Today, when the safety of millions of human lives come into play, ‘quality’ takes on an entirely new meaning for our customers who are working and succeeding in a new and challenging environment. We are proud to help them in their mission.”

Expanding Customer Base

Key new customers ETQ gained during the period, include companies in a variety of sectors – from industrial and energy suppliers, to chocolate and automotive manufacturers. These consist of firms such as Flowserve, Lindt & Sprungli USA, Rivian Automotive, Ipsen, GE Power, Organon and PurFoods. In addition, existing customers, such as KBI Biopharma, Dole Foods, Sarepta Therapeutics, Path AI and Kamstrup, expanded their use of ETQ Reliance. Many of these customers turned to Reliance to bring automation and data analytics to quality processes, and to standardize their quality environment on a single QMS.

Reliance Shows Its Range

Reliance is the industry’s most flexible and adaptable QMS and is working in a wide range of applications and industries, from complaints management in life sciences to ensuring food safety regulation compliance in cutting edge agriculture technology organizations. One international air carrier is using Reliance coupled with machine learning to enhance airline-wide safety initiatives, while several dispersed manufacturers have deployed Reliance as their standard QMS across multiple locations and manufacturing facilities. Reliance has even found a home helping a global non-profit provide food security and COVID vaccines for the world’s most vulnerable populations. And Reliance rarely works alone. Often the QMS is integrated with other critical enterprise applications, such as ERP, CRM and MES systems, to share data, improve supplier quality, shorten production cycle time and serve as a catalyst for digital transformation.

Looking Forward: Quality Vision 2021, ETQ’s Virtual Customer Conference

During the second half of 2020 and in early 2021, ETQ continued to operate quite successfully in a remote work model. In addition, the company is planning its first-ever virtual annual customer conference, ETQ Quality Vision 2021, which will take place April 6-9. During the conference, customers will share best practices in quality and safety management, and how they’ve overcome unprecedented challenges in a highly disrupted manufacturing environment.
