Everstream, the business-only fiber network, today announced the promotions of two executives — Bill Major has been named President and Joe Pellegrini has been promoted to Chief Operating Officer — along with the addition of Michael D’Angelo, who has been appointed to the newly created role of Executive Vice President, Sales, leading Everstream’s enterprise, wholesale and wireless sales teams across all markets.
Brett Lindsey will continue to serve as Chief Executive Officer, with Major and Pellegrini reporting to him. D’Angelo will report to Major.
“These changes are necessary to accommodate Everstream’s growth and to continue moving the business forward. Bill and Joe have played integral roles in our corporate and network expansion efforts. Their leadership is critical as we move ahead with planned greenfield builds, post-acquisition integration efforts and supporting team members across our 10-state footprint,” Lindsey said. “Similarly, Mike has broad sales and leadership experience as well as the collaborative approach required within an organization to execute those sales. He is uniquely qualified to take over Everstream’s day-to-day sales operation.”
Mike D’Angelo: With more than 25 years of experience, D’Angelo is responsible for expanding and leading Everstream’s enterprise, wholesale/carrier, and wireless sales efforts along with handling contract negotiations and day-to-day management. He brings a deep understanding of the telecom industry along with a track record of strategic account management, sales implementation and behavioral management. Prior to joining Everstream, D’Angelo served as Senior Vice President, Sales, Marketing and Customer Service, with GoNetspeed, where he was responsible for leading residential and enterprise sales, product development, marketing and customer satisfaction. He also has held General Manager and Senior Vice President roles with CenturyLink, formerly Level 3, Zayo Networks and American Fiber Systems.
Bill Major: As the newly appointed President of Everstream, Major is responsible for driving revenue growth while overseeing the Sales, Service Delivery and Customer Experience teams that deliver unmatched service to Everstream’s customers. Most recently, Major served as Chief Revenue Officer, responsible for all revenue generation and driving market expansion through hiring additional sales leadership and local sales personnel across the region. Since joining Everstream in 2015, Major also served as Vice President, Sales and Marketing, with responsibility for expanding and leading the company’s enterprise, carrier and wireless sales efforts.
Joe Pellegrini: Expanding the breadth of his role, Pellegrini will continue to lead the company’s operations management function, executing on Everstream’s organic growth initiatives and fiber network expansion plans. Pellegrini joined Everstream in 2018 as Vice President, Operations, and was promoted to Executive Vice President, Operations, in 2019, as the company prepared to invest $300 million into expanding its network. He oversees the Field Services and Network Planning teams, which represent key, local personnel in each market, and is tasked with executing on Everstream’s plans to strategically expand its new fiber network.
