Fuze, the leading cloud-based communications provider for the modern global enterprise, today announced that it has been awarded a new patent for advanced address book management, further enabling seamless communication for Fuze users.

The U.S. Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) issued Fuze U.S. Patent No. 10469626B2. The invention automatically augments the contact and/or biographical information stored in users’ address books across computers and other personal devices, such as phones and tablets, pulling publicly available information sent and received via different communication and social networks. The contact information is collected in real time and displayed and accessed in the Fuze platform, giving users quick and easy access to the latest contact data.

“As the global shift towards remote work continues to unfold, workers’ reliance on tools that provide seamless communication workflows is increasingly vital,” said Rob Scudiere, president and chief operating officer at Fuze. “This new patent enriches user address books to create a web of information that enhances collaboration and productivity.”
