H Code, the largest Hispanic digital media company in the U.S., and the We Are All Human Foundation, a nonprofit devoted to equity, diversity, and inclusion, today announced their partnership to examine how Hispanics are viewed in the United States through the Hispanic Perception Study (HPS).

“As the nation prepares for the upcoming presidential election, understanding how Hispanics are perceived has never been more urgent,” says Parker Morse, CEO & Founder of H Code. “H Code is proud to work with We Are All Human to meet our shared mission of bringing light to these perceptions. It is our hope that the HPS will encourage awareness about the Hispanic community as it is today and highlight the countless ways this demographic enriches our society.”

The national survey will be administered among Hispanic and non-Hispanic respondents from all main geographical areas of the United States by the H Code Intelligence Center — a proprietary solution for collecting first-party data from over 32 million monthly UVs and a proprietary panel of Hispanic respondents across languages, levels of acculturation, and more. In order to delve deep into the current landscape, the study will not only explore perception within non-Hispanics communities, but also examine how U.S. Hispanics view themselves.

“The Hispanic community is incredibly powerful, and We Are All Human & Hispanic Star are dedicated to leading the movement to help change Hispanic perceptions. In 2018, we conducted the Hispanic Sentiment Study with the objective of investigating how Hispanics feel with regards to multiple topics. This year’s groundbreaking study with H Code will build on that work and we hope will contribute to a change in the narrative about U.S. Hispanics,” says Claudia Romo-Edelman, Founder of We Are All Human.

The Hispanic Perception Study aims to identify existing negative and positive perceptions towards the Hispanic community in the U.S., the drivers behind these attitudes and opinions, and the primary barriers to improving and changing perceptions about this influential community.

In celebration of their efforts and partnership, H Code and We Are All Human will host a special Instagram Live event with HipLatina, the leading digital platform dedicated to empowering millennial Latinas, on Thursday, October 29, 2020 at 5pm PT via @hip_latina to discuss the powerful impact of the Hispanic community in the U.S. and perceptions especially as they pertain to the Latina vote and the upcoming 2020 election.
