InterVision, a leading IT strategic services provider, today announced it has been named a Visionary in the June 2019 Gartner Magic Quadrant for Disaster Recovery as a Service. This marks the fifth consecutive year InterVision* has received recognition for its Disaster-recovery-as-a-Service (DRaaS) offering in this report.

Over the past 18 months, InterVision acquired Indianapolis-based Bluelock for its category leadership in DRaaS, as well as California-based Infiniti Consulting Group for its deep expertise in AWS and Azure consulting. These strategic acquisitions allowed InterVision to expand its solution portfolio and add new capabilities to its DRaaS offerings, including managed and assisted solutions across hosted, public and private cloud targets. Historically, Gartner has included Bluelock in the Gartner Magic Quadrant for Disaster Recovery as a Service.

The Gartner Magic Quadrant evaluates organizations based on completeness of vision and ability to execute.

“Since the acquisition of Bluelock in 2018, InterVision has been dedicated to aggressively strengthening its DRaaS offering, namely with the integration of AWS, Azure and our managed security services,” said Jeff Ton, SVP, Product Development & Strategic Alliances at InterVision. “We believe our Gartner positioning validates our combined capabilities to deliver both value and confidence to our clients, no matter where their workloads reside.”

According to the report, “The disaster-recovery-as-a-service market consists of hundreds of providers, all with different approaches and capabilities. This diversity creates immense complexity around vendor selection. Infrastructure and operations leaders should use this Magic Quadrant to help evaluate providers of DRaaS.”

“As a strategic service provider, we strive to deliver the right mix of technology and services for any cloud or datacenter premise,” said Aaron Stone, InterVision President and CEO. “We view our positioning as a ‘Visionary’ in the Magic Quadrant for Disaster Recovery as a Service report as reflective of our differentiated ability to deliver true multi-cloud resiliency for our clients.”
