Ivanti, Inc., the automation platform that makes every IT connection smarter and more secure, today announced the appointment of Erik Randles, the company’s new senior vice president of global channels and alliances. In his new role, Randles will focus on growing Ivanti’s relationships and business with partners, developing a global integrated partner ecosystem in support of Ivanti’s hyper-growth strategy. Randles will also launch Ivanti’s global partner program later this year.
“We’re committed to developing an exciting growth-oriented program for our partners as we jointly serve the market. The end goal of our partner program is to drive simplicity, predictability, and profitability as we deliver business value via software and services to our customers,” said Jeff Abbott, president of Ivanti. “The Ivanti team is honored to have Erik join our pursuit of building a larger and more capable partner ecosystem. I’m confident that Erik’s extensive experience will enhance all that we do with our existing and future network.”
With over 20 years of experience leading global business development, alliances and channel partner sales programs at both public and private companies, Randles brings with him a distinguished skillset to expand Ivanti’s global partner network. He has a proven track-record of success building trusted relationships with partners and developing programs that multiply partner revenue growth at leading technology companies.
Randles joins Ivanti from VMware, where he led global business development and alliances for VMware’s cloud management SaaS business. Prior to VMware, Randles led partner organizations at several large public and hyper-growth private companies, including Hewlett-Packard Enterprise SimpliVity, Symantec and Veritas.
“Ivanti understands the new and complex IT and security challenges that enterprises are facing today with managing and securing a globally distributed workforce and has developed a unique portfolio of integrated solutions that make the everywhere workplace possible,” said Randles. “Our partners play an important role helping our customers achieve their business objectives. I am looking forward to leading a global program that will enable partners to deliver more value to customers and efficiently grow their business with Ivanti.”
“We are delighted to have the opportunity to work with Erik and his new team at Ivanti as we collaborate on realizing the significant opportunity represented by our partnership,” said Rene Klein, senior vice president of Westcon Europe. “We believe the combination of Ivanti’s advanced security and service management solutions with our established partner community and digital distribution capabilities can drive sustained growth and profitability for the channel as it addresses the needs of the evolving hybrid workplace.”
