J2 Global, Inc. (NASDAQ: JCOM), a leading Internet information and services company, today issued its Diversity Report for 2020, sharing diversity and representation statistics of its U.S. employee base and committing to a series of programs and actions to continue driving diversity, equity and inclusion across the organization.

It has been a fundamental priority and this Diversity Report demonstrates some of the progress we’ve made and also the important work that still needs to be done,” said J2 Global CEO Vivek Shah. “We need to be impatient, force action and be unwilling to compromise in our pursuit of diversity, equity and inclusion.”

Among J2 Global’s U.S. workforce, 35% of J2 Global U.S. employees are people of color and 41% of J2 Global U.S. employees are female, the report finds. Hiring trends indicate that representation and diversity are on the rise at J2 Global U.S. over the past 18 months, with people of color representing 38% of new U.S. hires, and women representing 44% of the company’s new U.S. hires during that period.

As part of its “Doing > Talking,” initiative, J2 Global details in its Report the ongoing and upcoming programs and actions to drive inclusion, equity and diversity at the company; a series of programs to further diversify and add conscious inclusion measures to the company’s recruiting and hiring practices, enhanced training for employees on unconscious bias and anti-racism, and more. In addition, the company committed to issuing the Diversity Report annually, and plans to broaden future reports to include its international employee base.
