Kibo announced that the company has been named a Strong Performer in The Forrester Wave™: B2C Commerce Suites Q2 2020. The report identified the 10 most significant B2C commerce suites and researched, analyzed, and scored them for the report. Forrester notes that, “This report shows how each provider measures up and helps eBusiness and channel strategy professionals select the right one for their needs.”

Forrester notes that B2C merchants are looking for simplicity, unity, efficiency and choice. As headless solutions become more popular, more merchants are looking for vendor partners that “do more to manage a rapidly evolving market.” This statement is more relevant now than ever before, with the extreme market conditions brought on by the COVID-19 pandemic, forcing B2C merchants to pivot their ecommerce businesses extensively.

“We are thrilled to be named a Strong Performer in the Forrester Wave: B2C Commerce Suites. Our extensible, headless solution is built with everyday merchant use cases in mind, and Forrester noted in its report our thoughtful attention to usability. What’s more, our vision for personalized commerce is absolutely happening now, with integrations from recent acquisitions Monetate and Certona,” said David Post, CEO at Kibo.

As a Strong Performer, Forrester notes that, “Kibo Commerce is above par in testing, search, and promotions, including thoughtful attention to usability in the admin tools.”

Forrester also recognized that Kibo, a Vista Equity Partners company, has recently acquired personalization and testing companies; Monetate and Certona, which the company is currently integrating more deeply into the Kibo solution for an end-to-end personalized commerce offering, with plans to innovate further in the near future. In its profile of Kibo, the research firm notes, “Kibo is a best fit for merchants that are looking for ease of use and are willing to bet on the full-service potential of what’s to come as the provider executes on deeper integrations and unification.”

B2C retailers should also note that Kibo offers an API-first design for open, extensible integrations with other technologies. Kibo’s microservice-based architecture enables independently deployable modules that address business needs leading to further flexibility and scale. And Kibo’s multi-tenant deployment offers rapid time-to-value and seamless and frequent updates and innovation.
