Tyler
Technologies Inc
. (NYSE: TYL) announced today that it has signed an
agreement with Guilford County, North Carolina, for Tyler’s Munis®
enterprise resource planning (ERP) software suite, including Tyler
Cashiering and Tyler Content Manager.

Guilford County has a population of more than 500,000 people, making it
the third largest county in North Carolina. The county is currently
using several third-party solutions for ERP management, but they are not
integrated and deliver fragmented data to the county’s various
departments. The county looked for a more comprehensive solution that
could manage financial and human capital information and selected
Tyler’s Munis solution to bring needed improvements.

“We were looking for an integrated ERP solution to better serve our
customers, internal and external, while empowering our employees,” said
Hemant Desai, CIO, Guilford County. “We expect that Tyler’s Munis
solution will help achieve that vision and bring many benefits to our
county, such as more sophisticated reporting and streamlined business
operations.”

Tyler’s Munis solution will be deployed as a software-as-a-service
(SaaS) solution and will provide the county with a modern workflow,
flexible reporting, and automated business processes. Tyler Cashiering
will allow the county to centralize revenue collections and monitor
real-time balances across departments, and Tyler Content Manager will
streamline access to records and documents and allow Guilford County to
easily transform paper forms and documents into electronic images. The
county is also in the process of implementing Tyler’s EnerGov™ civic
services solution, which will be integrated with Munis.

“This agreement underscores the fact that Munis, especially when
deployed as a SaaS solution, is a great fit for large public sector
organizations like Guilford County,” said Chris Hepburn, president of
Tyler’s ERP & Schools Division. “We are eager to bring time-saving
efficiencies to county departments and cost savings to their
constituents through our solution.”
