As the nation grapples with a perfect storm of COVID-19, systemic racism, economic challenges on the cusp of a critical election, many in the Latinx community are facing painful inequalities such as access to healthcare, internet, and jobs.

The LTX Fest strives to unite and empower the community in their careers and civic participation through an innovative conference by providing interactive networking, pre-recorded and live online streaming sessions featuring more than 70 speakers, community and technology leaders such as actor, activist and director America Ferrera, Los Angeles mayor Eric Garcetti, influential journalist Paola Ramos, investors Adeyemi Ajao and Miriam Rivera, digital media and cultural leader Beatriz Acevedo, philanthropy and visionary leader Jacqueline Martinez Garcel, social justice leader Dolores Huerta, and leader in building diverse teams and AI-powered marketing and sales platforms Elias Torres, and more!

WHY: The Latinx community is the least represented across the technology sector, with only eight percent Latinx employees in the US technology workforce, and despite being the country’s largest ethnic community. With the economic potential and upward mobility tied to the industry, it is urgent that we provide centralized resources and equitable access to tech career paths. LTX Fest is the community-centric solution to the parity problem in the technology industry and technology-adjacent sectors. LTX Fest brings together Latinx leaders from across industries merging tech and philanthropy, uplifting our community in advocacy and civic engagement.
