Inc. Magazine released the annual Inc. 5000 company rankings, recognizing LendingPoint amongst the nation’s fastest-growing private companies. LendingPoint, the data and technology platform dedicated to creating frictionless access to money whenever and wherever, joins this prestigious list along with other acclaimed brands that are being recognized for exceptional business growth in 2021.

Through 2020’s unprecedented challenges, LendingPoint showed great promise in a competitive market with its strong commitment to customer satisfaction and continuing to serve and support hundreds of thousands of consumers and merchant partners.

“This honor signals a continuation of the growing momentum LendingPoint’s platform sustained through a year of challenges across the globe. During a turbulent time, we remained committed to our customers, and were able to quickly position ourselves as a preferred financial partner when people needed us most,” said Tom Burnside, CEO of LendingPoint.

Drawing from years of experience, LendingPoint quickly adapted, remaining transparent and flexible throughout the pandemic; it established multiple channels of communication and offered mitigation options, including payment modifications to work with customers experiencing financial difficulties. As a result, the company was back to originating at pre-pandemic levels by July 2020, hitting record origination levels every month through year-end. By June 2021, LendingPoint increased originations on its platform by 61% compared to the second half of 2020, with 26% of Q2 2021 originations coming from returning customers.

“Our team understands that we only exist because of our loyal customers and because of that we will continue to build on our customer-powered culture guided by continuous data-driven improvement. Looking ahead, we will reinforce our continued growth through nonstop innovation using proprietary algorithms and technologies and aid our borrowers through our customer-first approach,” said Burnside.
