LLamasoft, the leading provider of AI-enabled enterprise decision-making solutions, is announcing that it has been recognized with three distinct awards this quarter. LLamasoft ranks in the top 5 percent of Entrepreneur magazine’s Entrepreneur 360 “Best Entrepreneurial Companies in America” list, has been named to Food Logistics “List of Top Software and Technology Providers” and Supply and Demand Chain Executive awards LLamasoft with the “Green Supply Chain Award” for the third year in a row.

LLamasoft’s in Top 5 Percent of Entrepreneur 360 List

LLamasoft’s “Best Entrepreneurial Companies in America” win comes after being evaluated using a proprietary algorithm and other advanced analytics. The algorithm was built on a balanced scorecard designed to measure five metrics reflecting major pillars of entrepreneurship: revenue and customers, management efficiency, innovation, financial evaluation and business valuation. LLamasoft ranked #19 on the list, putting it in the top 5 percent of elite entrepreneurial companies listed, it jumped from the #37 spot last year. LLamasoft’s profile can be found on Entrepreneur.com here.

In addition to the recognition from Entrepreneur 360, LLamasoft’s Co-founder and Chief Strategy Officer, Toby Brzoznowski, was interviewed by Entrepreneur’s Madison Semarjian for her article titled, “How to Convince Large Companies to Work With Your Startup,” where Brzoznowski shares his advice to start-up entrepreneurs.

Food Logistics Recognizes LLamasoft’s Innovation

Food Logistics recognized LLamasoft for the third year in row with a position on the 2019 FL100+ Top Software and Technology Providers list for its commitment to helping global companies in the food and beverage industry streamline and optimize their complex supply chain operations. LLamasoft helps its over 100 food and beverage customers deliver their products by designing a safe, efficient and reliable global food and beverage supply chain.

The annual FL100+ Top Software and Technology Providers serves as a resource guide of software and technology providers whose products and services are critical for companies in the global food and beverage supply chain.

“Whether you’re using sensors to monitor critical temperatures for perishables or a WMS to manage inventory flows in your warehouse, software and technology are playing a vital role in the food and beverage industry,” remarks John R. Yuva, editor for Food Logistics and its sister publication, Supply & Demand Chain Executive. “The transparency and safety of the digital global food supply chain would not exist without innovations in software and technology. Our FL100+ recipients help drive supply chain compliance and regulatory changes that benefit everyone from the farmer to the food processor to the consumer.”

Companies on this year’s 2019 FL100+ Top Software and Technology Providers list will be profiled in the November/December 2019 issue of Food Logistics, as well as online at www.foodlogistics.com. For more information on LLamasoft’s work in the food and beverage industry, download this case study.

LLamasoft’s Ability to Help Customers Operate Sustainable Supply Chains Recognized by SDCE

LLamasoft has once again been selected as a winner of the Supply & Demand Chain Executive’s Green Supply Chain Award for the third year in a row. This award recognizes LLamasoft’s efforts to both help its customers operate more sustainable supply chains, as well as to create a green culture internally.

Using LLamasoft’s modeling technology, customers are able to create a “digital twin” of their supply chain, making it easier for them to: optimize transportation routes to reduce empty miles and CO2 emissions impact, evaluate physical supply chains to minimize environmental impact and identify redundant facilities, and find opportunities to improve both service levels and environmental performance by storing more finished goods closer to sources of demand.

Additionally, LLamasoft’s own Green Team runs initiatives to create a culture that emphasizes sustainability by developing activities that make it easy for every LLamasoft employee to support and promote sustainability. Corporate efforts to achieve sustainability goals include an annual user conference with sustainability focus and metrics, company-wide recycling commitments and promoting and incentivizing alternate commuting methods employees can use to travel to and from work.

“What a way to close out 2019! Thank you to all of our global llamas whose hard work and relentless drive to create value for our customers is what ultimately brings us the recognition of these three awards,” said LLamasoft’s Chief Marketing Office, Sandra Moran. “As we look forward to 2020, and take stock of our accomplishments this year, we are more committed than ever to continue our mission to positively impact 100 million lives in the next two years. We are so appreciative of the acknowledgement and recognition from Entrepreneur 360, Food Logistics and Supply and Demand Chain Executive.”
