  • GoAnywhere MFT
  • MOVEit MFT by Ipswitch
  • Globalscape EFT
  • Diplomat MFT by Coviant

What makes the SoftwareReviews Data Quadrant different? Inclusion of aggregated emotional response ratings in the areas of service, negotiation, product impact, conflict resolution, and strategy and innovation create a powerful indicator of overall user feeling toward the vendor and its product from the software users’ point of view. SoftwareReviews calls this insight the Net Emotional Footprint.

GoAnywhere MFT, with a Net Emotional Footprint score of +90, scored consistently high throughout the entire survey, and did particularly well with users for its breadth of features and multi-platform support. Ipswitch earned top-product status for MOVEit MFT and its breadth of features, with a Net Emotional Footprint Score of +86. Globalscape EFT, with a Net Emotional Footprint score of +83, received top product in six areas, having done especially well with users for its vendor support. Coviant earned a Net Emotional Footprint score of +79 for Diplomat MFT, which received top product in thirteen areas, excelling predominately in its high-performance file transfer feature.

Overall, managed file transfer software users revealed what they value most by awarding the highest scores for ease of data integration and implementation capabilities, as well as file transfer and encryption features.

Further to what matters from the user point of view, Anthony Costa, research specialist at Info-Tech Research Group, said, “What really sets MFT apart from other file transfer applications, such as file transfer protocol (FTP) and secure file transfer protocol (SFTP), is its data security, regulatory compliance, and operational visibility capabilities. Organizations needing to transfer sensitive data every day can struggle ensuring their data is secure and accessible at all times. With MFT, organizations have the ability to encrypt, transmit, monitor, and store sensitive data. This kind of functionality allows organizations to readily meet, and adapt to, current or emerging security mandates and compliance regulations.”

About SoftwareReviews Data Quadrant Awards and Software Reports

The SoftwareReviews Data Quadrant Awards recognize outstanding vendors in the technology marketplace as evaluated by their users annually. Top vendors in a software category are eligible to receive Data Quadrant Gold Medals, provided their net-promoter scores meet the threshold for sufficiently high user satisfaction across four areas of evaluation: vendor capabilities, product features, likeliness to recommend, and vendor experience.
