Mercatus, a leading investment data platform for the private markets, is pleased to announce it has created a Strategic Advisory Board. Our advisors were selected based on their success and expertise in the private capital markets and the wealth of industry knowledge and experience they will bring to our clients.

The journey to digitization and investment data transparency in the private markets can be challenging. Our Strategic Advisory Board was formed to help Mercatus’s private market clients as they navigate the decision-making, technology selection, and change management that’s part of this journey.

“Private market investors have complex and unstructured data that is often locked up in various bespoke point solutions or spreadsheet-based financial models,” said Haresh Patel, CEO of Mercatus. “Our clients will be well served by these industry veterans who will share their knowledge about data architecture, data strategy, and lessons learned from their own data technology experiences.”

“Mercatus fills an increasing data aggregation void for alternative investment managers that brings together complex front to back data elements in a single technology solution,” said SAB member John Dorogoff.

“The software has amazing potential—it is so elegantly designed that it can support any asset class, which is a holy grail,” said SAB member Assunta Gaglione-Austin. “And the team is smart, energetic and full of actionable ideas to help fund managers quickly move from data to information to insight.”
