Mill Street Research, a boutique investment research and consulting firm, is pleased to announce that its flagship MAER global stock ranking data is now available on the Open:Factset Marketplace.
Developed and produced by Mill Street Research, MAER (from its original name, the Monitor of Analysts’ Earnings Revisions) is a carefully constructed, institutional-grade multi-factor global stock ranking model that has been used by buy-side firms for years as part of their stock selection process.
MAER is based on a combination of trends in revisions to consensus analyst earnings estimates, price action, and valuation inputs. The MAER ranking model is primarily designed for intermediate forecasting horizons of one to six months and covers a broad global universe of approximately 6,000 stocks.
“Quantitatively-focused institutional investors continue to look for differentiated inputs that can add alpha to their equity selection process right away. The MAER ranking model addresses that need by merging academic and proprietary research into a transparent, robust multi-factor equity ranking model.” said Sam Burns, Chief Strategist at Mill Street Research. “FactSet’s scale and world-class data integration capabilities will allow buy-side institutions to access and integrate the MAER rankings, so it was a natural fit for us to work with FactSet so that institutional investors can easily incorporate the MAER data into their own investment process.”
In addition to offering the MAER data via the Open:Factset Marketplace, Mill Street also publishes research reports that focus on asset allocation, sector and group work, and regional allocation strategies.
