MITRE Appoints Jerry Hogge Senior Vice President of MITRE Public Sector

MITRE announced Jerry Hogge as senior vice president of MITRE Public
Sector, effective immediately. Hogge
will be responsible for business strategy, international programs, and
sponsor engagement with MITRE’s federally funded research and
development centers for civilian agencies. These include the Centers for
Medicare & Medicaid Services, Department of Health and Human Services,
Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Federal Aviation Administration,
Department of Homeland Security, Department of Treasury and Internal
Revenue Service, and Administrative Office of the U.S. Courts. Hogge
will also lead growth opportunities with industry and academic partners
and work with the Board of Trustees on business strategy and key
initiatives.

Along with a strong mission focus, Hogge brings an extensive record of
leading complex IT programs with civilian and defense agencies,
including the Department of Defense/VA multi-year integration of
electronic health records. He has broad experience in business strategy,
government relations, systems engineering, and intellectual
property. Most recently, Hogge served as senior vice president and
general manager of Military and Veterans Health Solutions at Leidos.

Hogge has held executive leadership roles at SAIC, QinetiQ, Unisys,
Level 3, IDT Corporation, and Winstar Government Solutions. He also was
a patent attorney at Birch, Stewart, Kolasch & Birch, LLP and spent 10
years at AT&T Government Solutions in network engineering and data
solutions. Hogge has served on the boards of the Professional Services
Council and the Virginia Tech Pamplin College of Business Center for
Business Intelligence and Analytics. WashingtonExec has twice named
Hogge to its “Executives to Watch” list. Hogge holds a bachelor’s in
electrical engineering and a master’s in industrial and systems
engineering from Virginia Tech, and a law degree in intellectual
property from George Mason University. He also holds a certificate in
Financial Analysis and Valuation from Columbia Business School of
Executive Education program.
