senior leaders of its engineering team will be presenting on software
development and infrastructure topics at the O’Reilly Velocity
conference on Tuesday and Wednesday, June 11 and 12, at the San Jose
McEnery Convention Center.

Christian Saide, lead engineer at NS1, will conduct a hands-on workshop
on DDoS
mitigation made easy with XDP and eBPF on Tuesday, June 11, at 1:30
p.m. PT. The workshop will educate attendees on how these tools can help
manage unwanted network traffic and teach them the skills needed to
properly leverage XDP as a defense mechanism to protect their
mission-critical services and infrastructure.
Renee Orser, vice president of engineering at NS1, will speak about the
challenges enterprises face in delivering a software solution via
SaaS and on-premise on Wednesday, June 12, at 3:50 p.m. PT. A recent
IDG Ones to Watch honoree, Orser will share NS1’s experience delivering
its leading DNS suite across deployment models and the significant
architectural, cultural and organizational design challenges teams must
overcome to do so.
A third session, led by Shannon Weyrick, vice president of architecture,
and Clare Gollnick, director of data science, of NS1, will focus on traffic
analysis strategies for edge networks on Wednesday, June 12, at 4:45
p.m. PT. Moving beyond application-level metrics, the speakers will
touch on methods for traffic collection and analysis, and how to discern
the valuable information from the uninteresting noise. Attendees will
learn new strategies and technologies available to build a fully
distributed collection and analysis framework.
The O’Reilly Velocity Conference provides IT professionals with
