Transposit, the DevOps process orchestration company, today announced that the company will host an online conversation with Hulu’s former Director of Production Operations Ryan Taylor – now Vice President of Product at Transposit – on how to achieve operational maturity on Tuesday, September 21. The event will provide an in-depth look at the journey to operational maturity, helping IT and operations leaders learn how they can elevate their organizations from reactive to self-healing.
What: While the emergence of cloud computing and the ways APIs are used for infrastructure have advanced the pace at which we can deliver software, they’ve also added a great deal of complexity. IT has become more federated and operations teams are losing governance over tools and processes. The silos of tools, data and teams hinder visibility, context and actionability, resulting in the increased rate and cost of downtime.
Attendees will learn how to combat these new challenges by empowering IT professionals to embrace a new perspective when driving towards operational maturity. This requires teams to rethink ITSM and adopt new processes and technologies that enhance visibility and actionability across tools, services and teams.
The discussion will explore the stages of operational maturity and recommended strategies to move from reactive to self-healing, with real-world advice on how to implement tools, processes and organizational structures to drive operational excellence.
