Aria Systems, the leader in helping enterprises grow subscription and usage-based revenue, today announced that Oxford University Press (OUP), the world’s largest university press, has selected Aria’s billing and monetization platform as part of its ongoing digital transformation program.
Aria will provide subscription management support for OUP’s Education and English Language Teaching (ELT) divisions via its Aria Media and Publishing Suite (AMPS), the company’s application suite designed exclusively for media and publishing companies.
“Aria provides any publisher engaging in a digital transformation the modern, agile billing platform needed to introduce and monetize new digital services and manage traditional print business lines in a unified environment,” said Tom Dibble, President and CEO, Aria Systems. “Since launching AMPS, we have built a strong portfolio of media and publishing companies that have chosen Aria to support their digitization efforts. We are honored to partner with Oxford University Press, bringing one of the world’s truly esteemed and influential publishers to our growing roster.”
OUP publishes thousands of titles each year and its products and services are sold in over 200 countries and regions worldwide. The Education division provides teaching and educational materials, while the ELT division develops resources to support the learning of English worldwide.
Aria will sit alongside and integrate with OUP’s existing systems to simplify, automate, and standardize global subscription selling processes.
“Aria’s platform provides the flexibility, configurability, and ease of connectivity we require as we commence our broad digital transformation efforts,” said Tim Fulton, Chief Transformation Officer for OUP. “Leaning on their deep experience in the media and publishing industry, Aria understood our challenges from the outset and is implementing a solution that will support our key strategic aspirations to simplify, grow, and adapt through enhanced subscription management.”
