Dallas-based iDonate, a leading digital giving software company, has announced the addition of payment processing expert Chuck Harris to its Board of Directors. Harris comes to iDonate after serving a 3-year stint as Senior Executive Vice President of the Consumer Payments Segment of Total System Services, Inc., (NYSE: TSS), a global payments services giant. iDonate, which provides fundraising and digital giving software solutions to the world’s top nonprofit organizations, anticipates gaining valuable insights and connections from Harris’ rich experience and background.
According to iDonate CEO Ray Gary, “Chuck Harris joining our Board could not come at a better time. As we’ve expanded and improved our robust software solution, Chuck’s ability to provide insights on implementation and execution for global nonprofit brands will be invaluable. His presence on our board, and for our brand, will be a multiplier.”
Harris, a current investor in iDonate, joins the Board of Directors with decades of experience in payments, finance, and Software as a Service. He previously served as President of Netspend, a pioneer in delivering a digital banking alternative to the self-bank consumer market. Prior to joining Netspend, Harris served as the General Manager of the payment solutions division of Intuit, Inc. and held multiple positions for Electronic Clearing House, Inc. (NASDAQ:ECHO), including President and CEO.
“iDonate presents a significant opportunity for leading non-profit organizations to offer a higher value proposition to their donors,” Harris said. “Their enterprise-class software truly does it all – the ability to facilitate any type of donation online will be a key factor in the continued growth of the company. I’m excited to help lead further integrations and product upgrades in an effort to make iDonate the clear leader in the digital giving sector.”
Harris is the current Executive Director of the Texas Exes, the official alumni association of The University of Texas at Austin. He will join the Board of Directors for iDonate immediately.
