RSA (@RSAsecurity), a globally trusted partner for some of the world’s largest and most risk sensitive organizations, announced today Reed Taussig has joined RSA as CEO of the RSA Anti-Fraud Business Unit. As a privately-owned independent business, RSA is one of the largest pure-play providers of solutions for risk, security and anti-fraud teams and host of the world’s largest cybersecurity conference: RSA Conference.

As CEO of the Anti-Fraud Business Unit, Reed Taussig will report into Rohit Ghai, RSA Group CEO and will focus on driving growth while nurturing customer-driven innovation for the RSA® Fraud & Risk Intelligence Suite.

Reed Taussig was most recently an operating executive at Marlin Equity Partners. Prior to that Reed was CEO of ThreatMetrix, a SaaS company and a leader in fraud prevention solutions based on digital identity intelligence where he drove innovation, led growth and an eventual sale of the company to LexisNexis.

“I am excited to join an iconic brand like RSA to continue my journey of fighting fraudsters. With the exponential rise in digital transactions, regulatory mandates around the globe to protect consumers from fraud, and rapid acceleration of digital transformation driven by COVID-19, there is a huge fraud opportunity for cybercriminals – and RSA is well positioned to capitalize on stopping these fraud opportunities,” said Reed Taussig CEO, RSA Anti-Fraud Business Unit.

“RSA has a long history of helping customers manage fraud risk. I am excited to welcome Reed to the team to lead our Anti-Fraud business. He has a deep understanding of our customer’s needs, a strong track record of building high growth SaaS businesses and perhaps, most importantly, the ability to always stay one step ahead of fraudsters,” said Rohit Ghai, Group CEO, RSA.

The RSA Fraud & Risk Intelligence Suite helps consumer-facing businesses protect their mission-critical digital channels—and the consumers who use them—from a range of related digital risks, fraud and cybercrime threats, including phishing, account takeover, card-not-present fraud, rogue mobile apps, rogue social media pages and much, much more. The suite includes RSA Adaptive Authentication, RSA Adaptive Authentication for eCommerce, RSA FraudAction™, and RSA FraudAction Cyber Intelligence services.
