Saint-Gobain’s SageGlass, manufacturer of the world’s smartest dynamic glass, has today announced that its SageGlass Harmony™ product has won a FacilitiesNet Vision Award in the Exteriors category. The Vision Awards honor innovation and excellence in products that contribute to the efficient and profitable operations and management of institutional and commercial buildings in the United States.

Harmony is a totally unique glazing solution that provides precise glare and daylight control through a natural, seamless in-pane tint transition that blocks up to 99 percent of glare and 91 percent of solar heat.

“People are spending more of their lives indoors, which we know impacts occupant wellbeing. Through a smooth visual aesthetic, Harmony offers sweeping views while promoting energy-efficient thermal comfort – providing cost savings for building owners without making a space feel too dark,” said Dr. Alan McLenaghan, CEO of SageGlass. “We’re honored to be recognized for the unique value our product brings to building occupants and owners alike.”

All entries submitted were reviewed and judged by an independent panel of esteemed facility executives on four criteria: tenant satisfaction, technological advancements, efficiency/productivity and cost savings.

The Vision Awards will recognize winning entries at the NFMT Orlando Conference and Expo, on FacilitiesNet.com and in the December 2019 issue of Building Operating Management magazine.
