multi-modal shipments is the first sensor built to operate on all

Traditional Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) carrier messages provide
delayed milestone information. In the case of land-to-sea shipments the Loaded
on Vessel message that a container has been loaded on a ship is
typically sent 1-5 days after loading. EDI does not offer real-time
information on location. Savi Locate for global multi-modal shipments
removes supply chain uncertainty by delivering objective and accurate
real-time, in-transit visibility data from the broadest range of
locations around the world. Savi Locate is the most affordable global
GPS sensor on the market. In addition to its global coverage, the
Industrial IoT (IIoT) sensor minimizes operations support requirements
with a battery life of 6 months to 5 years depending on ping interval.
