Saxum – an issues-obsessed, integrated digital agency – announced the launch of its new website and brand, emphasizing its position to serve clients in five key issue areas with the goal of creating positive change through strategic campaigns and digital solutions. Saxum’s new brand affirms the commitment through the new mantra, “Obsessed for Good.”
“It has been a difficult year, but we challenged ourselves to use the COVID crisis to our advantage — to re-think what we wanted the agency to be and do going forward,” said Renzi Stone, chairman and CEO of Saxum. “We knew, at our core, we are here for good. We are here to make meaningful and measurable change.”
Issues, Not Markets
Saxum works with businesses, brands, organizations and nonprofits offering digital marketing, advertising, communications and public relations in five important issue areas: Infrastructure & Energy, Disruptive Ventures, Criminal Justice Reform, Education, and Placemaking.
“Our key difference as an agency is not necessarily who we are serving, but why we’re serving them,” said Jeff Risley, chief strategy officer at Saxum. “It’s not about us. We are here to serve — our employees, our clients, and society at large. We consider all our stakeholders important, and we are unapologetically committed to a better world.”
Communities, Not Real Estate
Saxum also announced a shift to a communities model for employees. Team members will have the opportunity to live and work in one of three communities:
- Remote Community. The remote community team members span across the United States, offering flexibility for employees while retaining the best talent to serve clients.
- Market Community. Market communities, such as Tulsa, Oklahoma and Houston, Texas, represent a group of team members in a city that network through outreach and co-working spaces in those communities.
- Headquarters Community. The location of Saxum’s only official address, located in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.
“Work happens where you are or where you are needed, and isn’t confined to an office,” Stone said. “Our communities model means our employees can live and work from anywhere, and we can still provide outstanding service to our clients.”
“Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion is a primary focus for us,” Stone said. “It means we respect and celebrate the unique attributes, characteristics, and perspectives that make all of us who we are. We’ve adapted to meet the needs of our clients, partners and employees and I’m excited to see that reflected in our new website and brand.”
