Sentar Executives Receive Multiple FedHealthIT Awards

The FedHealthIT100 Honors those individuals recognized for driving change and advancement in the Federal Health Information Technology market. Nominated and chosen by his peers for his contributions, Joseph Sabin (Vice President, Health Information Technology) is being recognized by the FedHealthIT100 due to his diligent efforts to further the Federal Health IT mission and strategic vision. Oppositely, April Nadeau’s (Senior Vice President, Navy, Marine Corps, Health IT) lasting contributions to the FedHealthIT community have been recognized by naming her to the first class of the FedHealthIT100 Hall of Fame. The FedHealthIT100 Hall of Fame honors a unique group of individuals who have distinguished themselves as repeated winners of the FedHealthIT100 Awards, signaling a significant and long-standing impact within the Federal Health IT community.

An invested industry thought leader, Joe leads as Program Manager for Sentar’s Defense Health Agency (DHA) and Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) contracts. A Veteran and Industry Partner for 30+ years, Joe leads significant Health IT initiatives and capabilities across the Federal Health community. Notably, Joe manages the growth and execution for 150+ personnel ($40M+, annually), supporting significant DHA cyber security initiatives (e.g., CyOC, Marketplace Cyber, CyberLOG). In 2020, his team received an innovation award for the third straight year (Marketplace Cyber). Moreover, he remains a regular contributor to FedHealthIT initiatives such as the 20 for 20 Advisory Group, DHA 20in20 Unfiltered panel, and the FedHealthIT Podcast Series. Combined, his execution and leadership continues to establish emerging and sustainable Health IT approaches.

A fierce advocate of the Defense Industry, April leads all Navy, Marine Corps and Health IT programs for Sentar. April is a strong advocate for supporting the warfighter, and makes every effort to support veterans in Sentar’s community. April’s core platform is built on the mission of pursuing the advancement of government and industry collaboration. April’s leadership, backed by her passionate efforts, have led to the integration of cybersecurity in healthcare to better the military health industry. Under her leadership, her teams’ successes have been recognized by being awarded the 2018 & 2019 FedHealthIT Innovation Award, ESGR “Above & Beyond” Award, and 2017 SPAWAR SB Prime Contractor of the Year.
