(NASDAQ: SPLK), provider of the Data-to-Everything Platform, today announced that the company is expanding its global footprint to 11 global innovation hubs in locations spanning Canada, Poland, Singapore, the United Kingdom and the United States. Driven by Splunk’s accelerated growth across IT, Security and business operations, along with the ever-growing surge of organizations transforming data into doing, Splunk’s global expansions have added over 1,000 jobs to its existing 5,000 worldwide employee count. Splunk’s recent acquisitions of SignalFX, Omnition and Streamlio also lend to Splunk’s expansion strategy, bringing increased talent and innovation to Splunk.

Splunk is experiencing continued growth in both its San Francisco headquarters and San Jose campuses. Both innovation hubs will be expanding into new buildings directly adjacent to the existing offices. Splunk’s San Francisco office is moving back into 250 Brannan Street, totaling 100,850 square feet of additional space to grow Splunk’s talent pool in all sectors. Splunk’s San Jose office is adding 700 Santana Row, creating 301,019 square feet of new space for Splunk’s urban campus to grow in the community.
In addition to growing the home base, Splunk continues its expansion across the U.S. and internationally:
- Boulder, CO: Splunk is further expanding its footprint in the Centennial State with a new DevOps-focused space in Boulder. Boulder will be home to a number of engineers, developers and go-to-market strategists. Splunk’s Boulder office is located in the heart of the Boulder Junction at Depot Square Station, a pedestrian-oriented neighborhood with regional transit connections throughout the state of Colorado.
- Toronto, Canada: As more customers around the world are looking to augment their IT and Security strategy with Machine Learning (ML) and Artificial Intelligence (AI), Splunk has opened a new office in Toronto, a hub for ML/AI talent. The office is focused on hiring individuals with expertise in ML and deep learning, helping enhance a broad range of IT operations, processes and tasks that allow Splunk customers to gain value augmenting human analysis.
- Around the World: Splunk is also opening and expanding offices in Kraków, Poland; London; McLean, VA; Morrisville, NC; Plano, TX; Reading, UK and Singapore, hiring worldwide employees dedicated to harnessing the power of data.
