Produced by the same team that compiles the 28-year-old Star Tribune 100
report of the best-performing public companies in Minnesota, Top
Workplaces recognizes the most progressive companies in Minnesota based
on employee opinions measuring engagement, organizational health and
satisfaction. The analysis included responses from over 140,000
employees at Minnesota public, private and nonprofit organizations.

The rankings in the Star Tribune Top 150 Workplaces are based on survey
information collected by Energage, an independent company specializing
in employee engagement and retention.

Code42 was ranked 18 on the midsize company list.

“We’re honored to be recognized among Minnesota’s Top Workplaces. This
year marks the fifth time Code42 has been named to this list of the
state’s most progressive companies,” said Joe Payne, president and CEO
of Code42. “We want to thank our employees who give us not only their
best each day, but also the edge we need to disrupt and lead in the data
security market.”

Star Tribune Publisher Michael J. Klingensmith said, “The companies in
the Star Tribune Top 150 Workplaces deserve high praise for creating the
very best work environments in the state of Minnesota. My
congratulations to each of these exceptional companies.”

The company’s solution, Code42®
Next-Gen Data Loss Protection
, enables security teams to more
quickly and easily protect their endpoint and cloud data from loss, leak
and theft. Unlike traditional data loss prevention (DLP), Code42’s
solution does not require strict prevention policies that block user
productivity. Instead, the solution clears the way for user
collaboration by providing security teams visibility to every version of
every file — making it quicker and easier to detect and respond to data
exfiltration and insider threats in near real-time.

The Code42 Next-Gen Data Loss Protection solution was recently honored
with a number of industry awards, including a Stevie Award, two Cyber
Defense Magazine 2019 InfoSec Awards, a 2019 Info Security PG’s Global
Excellence Award and 2019 Cybersecurity Excellence Awards. For a
complete list of Code42 achievements, visit the Honors
page on the company’s website.

To qualify for the Star Tribune Top Workplaces, a company must have more
than 50 employees in Minnesota. Over 2,000 companies were invited to
participate. Rankings were composite scores calculated purely on the
basis of employee responses.
