After an extensive evaluation and procurement process, George Junior Republic of Grove City, Pennsylvania, has selected Streamline’s SmartCare as its next electronic health record (EHR) solution. George Junior Republic’s current environment consists of a clinical application developed in-house along with external billing and medical focused software. There was a strong desire to find the most comprehensive solution, which could meet the needs of all three under one fully integrated offering.

“We looked at many vendors before settling on Streamline. One of the things that I like best about the system is its flexibility and ability to customize when necessary. The system is very intuitive for users and helps them know what outstanding work needs to be completed,” said Bryan Redfoot, I.T. Director at George Junior Republic. “Our search for a new system spanned multiple years. We were able to see many new features and functionality that had been added over that time. I love that the system is 100% web-based. Users will only have one system to access.”

“George Junior Republic represents a large, multi-faceted behavioral health organization, and we are excited to welcome them to our user community. SmartCare is a Meaningful Use certified application at both the inpatient/residential and ambulatory levels, and our out-of-the-box solution should meet their needs nicely. Through their multi-year evaluation process, it became apparent that their in-house IT team valued a flexible solution and will appreciate the ability to modify our application post-go-live free of vendor involvement,” said Javed Husain, Co-CEO, Streamline Healthcare Solutions.
