THAT Corporation, a leading provider of high-quality audio integrated circuits (ICs), today announced the appointment of Tom Ryan as IC Sales Manager. In this role, Tom will lead THAT’s global IC Sales organization, as well as manage all international IC distributors and representatives.

Tom has been with THAT for 14 years, most recently as an Inside Sales Rep and Customer Support Supervisor. Prior to joining THAT, Tom worked in live sound for music venues and television networks, including ESPN. His previous experience also includes customer support at audio console manufacturer Euphonix (now AVID) in California.

“I’m delighted to promote Tom to IC Sales Manager. He is uniquely qualified to carry on where the retiring Marv Hahn is leaving off, since they have worked together since Tom first joined us,” said Les Tyler, President, THAT Corporation. “We’re grateful to Marv for his tremendous work leading our sales team for half of THAT’s 30 years in business, and we’re confident that Tom will continue and build on Marv’s successful track record.”

Tom received an Associate of Science in Electrical Engineering Technology (ASEET) from Thames Valley State Technical College and studied mechanical engineering at the University of Connecticut. He owns a few classic cars and spends his leisure time maintaining those as well as playing his growing guitar collection.
