The American Journal of Managed Care® (AJMC®), the leading multimedia peer-reviewed journal dedicated to issues in managed care, announces the Patient-Centered Oncology Care® (PCOC) 2020 conference will be transitioning to a virtual format on Sept. 25, to ensure safety amid the global pandemic.

This year at PCOC, Alexandra Chong, Ph.D., health insurance specialist for the Center for Medicare & Medicaid Innovation (CMMI), Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS), will give the keynote presentation on the Oncology Care Model (OCM), focusing on how the impact of the COVID-19 Public Health Emergency on patient care and the development of updates to model policies. Industry leaders such as Natalie Dickson, M.D.; Aaron Lyss, MBA; Terrill Jordan; David M. Jackman, M.D.; Lee Schwartzberg, M.D., FACP; Karen Marie Winkfield, M.D., Ph.D.; Robert Daly, M.D., MBA; and Karen K. Fields, M.D., will then dive deeper in several panel discussions surrounding the future of value-based care as it relates to precision health, biosimilars, health care disparities, chronic care management, policy, technology and more.
