Tyler
Technologies Inc
. (NYSE: TYL) announced today that it has signed
agreements with three cities to use Tyler’s MyCiviccitizen
engagement application, including the cities of Boerne, Texas; Corinth,
Texas; and Minden, Louisiana.

Each city was looking for a solution that would provide a better citizen
engagement tool for their communities. City staff wanted an app that
citizens can easily use on a day-to-day basis to connect with their
local government, and ultimately selected Tyler’s MyCivic offering.

MyCivic provides a centralized mobile platform that serves as the center
of a jurisdiction’s community engagement via a downloadable app. It is
an ideal complement to a city’s website, allowing easier access to the
types of information citizens want to reach from a mobile environment.
MyCivic provides an easy user experience for citizens looking to engage
with their local government or community organizations.

According to Mike Raute, information technology director for the city of
Boerne, “MyCivic combines functionality, practicality, and usability
with a stimulating look better than anyone on the market.”

Pamela Bransford, communications director for the city of Boerne, added,
“MyCivic is going to be a great extension of our community outreach
efforts. The way the app looks, feels, and functions gives our citizens
an interactive way to gather information about their community.”

“We’re pleased to see more local government clients selecting MyCivic as
a way to easily connect its constituents with their communities,” said
Dane Womble, president of Tyler’s Local Government Division. “Tyler
continues to provide solutions in emerging markets to make sure
government is connecting with their residents in meaningful and
impactful ways. We’re thrilled that the cities of Boerne, Corinth, and
Minden are moving the needle on citizen engagement through our
application.”

Boerne is part of the San Antonio-New Braunfels metropolitan area, and
Corinth is part of the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex. The city of Minden
is located in northwestern Louisiana.
