The Two Bit Circus Foundation Anti-Gala—a gala reimagined—will be held on October 14, 2019 at their Micro-Amusement Park in downtown Los Angeles. The event reimagines all the typical aspects expected from a regular Gala, including multiplayer games, immersive experiences, circus performances, VR, AR, fire, lasers, robots, and much more. This is not your grandmother’s gala.

Two Bit Circus Foundation is the combination of LA Makerspace, Imagination.org, Trash for Teaching, and STEAM Carnival, who all share the goal of finding, fostering, and funding creativity and entrepreneurship in children around the world. The four non-profit powerhouses joined forces in order to raise a new generation of innovators and problem solvers with the tools they need to build the world they imagine. Together, the combined organization is able to increase efficiency and broaden their program offerings, allowing them to deliver more globally, including expanding Imagination Chapters around the world and supporting creativity challenges like International Checkerboard Day, to be held on November 21, 2019. On this day, proceeds from the sale of Vans Checkerboard products around the world, up to $1 million, will be donated in support of Imagination.org, powered by Two Bit, in order to further foster and fund creativity and entrepreneurship in children around the world.

“At the Anti-Gala, we will bring together those who want to ensure that kids everywhere have the tools they need to build the world they imagine. Join us as we celebrate those who play, make, create, learn, share and care about the next generation of inventors, doers, dreamers, makers and entrepreneurs,” said Leah Hanes, Executive Director of Two Bit Circus Foundation. “And we’re honored and grateful to Vans, such an influential supporter of our mission, as a sponsor of the Anti-Gala.”

Two Bit Circus Foundation invites everyone to come enjoy a night of entertainment and inspiration guaranteed to delight and amuse. The Anti-Gala will smash together science, immersion, creativity, and fun in support of inspiring the next generation of inventors. Limited tickets are available here.
