UiPath, the leading enterprise Robotic Process Automation (RPA) software company, today announced it has hired Chris Klayko as senior vice president of sales for the Americas. In his role, Klayko will scale UiPath by overseeing inside, outside and channel sales across small-to-medium sized businesses and enterprises in the Americas. Coenraad van der Poel, previously managing director for the Americas, will transition to assume a new leadership position overseeing strategic accounts on January 1, 2020.
Klayko brings senior sales experience from both Fortune 500 software companies and startups to UiPath. Most recently, he was the American sales lead for Google Cloud, which he grew from a company generating tens of millions of dollars in revenue to a multi-billion-dollar business in four years. Prior to Google, Klayko was global vice president of sales for SAP’s emerging solutions division. He originally joined SAP via the acquisition of Virsa Systems, one of the fastest growing private U.S. software startups at the time. Klayko also held the CRO position at Hara Software, a cloud-based enterprise software platform for energy and sustainability management, where he drove the company’s more than 30% market share.
