To achieve its goal of promoting student success, research, and other strategic priorities by philanthropically supporting the University of South Florida System, the USF Division of Advancement used its own instance of Ellucian Banner® Advancement to connect with donors, advocate for the university, and manage the university’s endowment. Having recently completed a complex and very successful $1 billion capital campaign, the USF Division of Advancement began looking for a new solution focused solely on advancement that would enable development officers to be even more informed about operations and efficiency and confident that they’re maximizing outcomes and measuring success against their goals for future campaigns. The division also wanted to gain greater confidence in data and decisions and ensure communication and complex information sharing between and among the various units within the USF Division of Advancement such as the USF Alumni Association, WUSF radio station, and the athletics department.
