Vizient, Inc. today opened its application process for suppliers who would like to showcase their innovative technology to hospital decision makers from across the country. The 2021 Vizient Innovative Technology Exchange will be held virtually Sept. 21-23. Deadline to submit an application is April 9.
The annual Innovative Technology Exchange offers selected suppliers the unique opportunity to demonstrate their technologies to hospital decision makers. Each technology will showcase how it improves clinical outcomes, enhances safety or drives incremental improvements to health care delivery or business models.
“Clinicians and supply chain professionals at last year’s virtual Innovative Technology Exchange said they liked being able to visit booths at their own pace to fully explore each technology. Just like in-person events, they were able to interact with suppliers who are bringing innovative solutions to the health care industry and gain a deeper understanding of the new technology, so that they could confidently discuss it with physicians and other colleagues,” said Debbie Archer, procurement compliance director at Vizient.
The annual Innovative Technology Exchange is part of Vizient’s Innovative Technology Program that includes product review of supplier-submitted technologies by member-led councils and task forces. Since 2003, Vizient has received over 2,800 technology submissions as part of its Innovative Technology Program. More information about the 2021 Innovative Technology Exchange can be found here.
