VPC Impact Acquisition Holdings Announces Closing of $200 Million Initial Public Offering

VPC Impact Acquisition Holdings (the “Company”) announced today that it closed its initial public offering of 20,000,000 units at a price of $10.00 per unit.

The Company’s units began trading on the Nasdaq Capital Market (“Nasdaq”) under the ticker symbol “VIHAU” on September 23, 2020. Each unit consists of one Class A ordinary share of the Company and one-half of one redeemable warrant. Each whole warrant entitles the holder thereof to purchase one Class A ordinary share of the Company at a price of $11.50 per share. Once the securities comprising the units begin separate trading, the Class A ordinary shares and warrants are expected to be listed on Nasdaq and trade under the symbols “VIH” and “VIHAW,” respectively.

The Company intends to pursue a business combination with a high-growth business in the Fintech industry with an enterprise value of approximately $800 million to $2 billion. The company is led by Chairman and Chief Executive Officer John Martin, President and Chief Operating Officer Gordon Watson and Chief Financial Officer Olibia Stamatoglou.

Jefferies LLC acted as the sole book running manager for the offering. The Company has granted the underwriter a 45-day option to purchase up to an additional 3,000,000 units to cover over-allotments, if any.
