WorkSpace, founded by Alan Bedekar, enables business teams to make value-based decisions – driving a holistic understanding of financial and operational metrics – by ingesting, normalizing, and sharing data across major real estate systems on an automated, real time basis. “This is an exciting new chapter for the WorkSpace team and our customers. ASG has a track record of accelerating vertical SaaS businesses across a long-term horizon. They bring a level of talent, experience, and professionalization that will allow us to grow and innovate significantly faster, in any economic climate,” said Bedekar.

As a leading player in an emerging category, WorkSpace empowers prominent institutional real estate investors and global property managers. The WorkSpace platform has quickly amassed over 40,000 registered users who manage more than $30 billion of assets on its platform.

The financial backing from ASG brings an expanded leadership team to the business as WorkSpace welcomes Vivek Kartha as President. Vivek joins WorkSpace from the operating arm of ASG, and brings significant experience in strategy, M&A, and business operations. This addition to the leadership team comes on the heels of several key hires for WorkSpace: Erin Roeder, Chief Operating Officer, who joined from KAP Group, a leading strategic advisory firm for real estate investors; Connor Olsen, Vice President of Sales, who joins after leading explosive growth at Convoy, the tech giant disrupting the $800B freight industry; and Steven Paterson, VP of Engineering, who joins after leading application development at Carrington Holding Company, a group of vertically integrated businesses serving all aspects of residential real estate transactions.

“Alan and the team at WorkSpace have built a platform that can revolutionize the way the commercial real estate community operates, from property managers in the field, to asset owners and executives, all the way up to investors and LPs. We find ourselves with a unique opportunity to drive improved investor and operator performance, especially in a challenging market cycle, by driving access to data, information, and insights,” said Vivek Kartha, President of WorkSpace. “With the backing of ASG and the leadership of Erin, Connor, and Steven, WorkSpace will become the modern command center for the industry.”
