WRKOUT Sees First Public Release Sold Out in a Day

Sponsored by Businesswire

WRKOUT, the first fitness brand to deliver live, virtually optimized personal training, held its initial membership release yesterday with incredible results. New members were excited to get their hands on face-to-face virtual training, with all available memberships selling within the day. The success of yesterday’s release comes on the heels of the company’s private beta launch this past February. With valuable positive feedback from beta users, the company was able to ensure yesterday’s release was a home run. An impressive 75,000 sessions have been delivered since the soft launch and this trend is only expected to grow as workout-from-home options continue to be in high demand.

“The entire team at WRKOUT is ecstatic about the results of our first public release. We’re thrilled to be able to provide live, one-on-one virtual training to our members with industry leading trainers,” says CEO and Founder of WRKOUT, Curtis Christopherson. “Our goal has always been to push the envelope when it comes to virtual fitness offerings, and yesterday we proved that we can do that—and more. We look forward to our next membership release, welcoming more MOVRS and TRNRS into the WRKOUT community, and continuing to serve this incredible demand.”

In 2020, Curtis Christopherson created WRKOUT with the intention of disrupting the fitness industry. The company provides a solution to the endless stream of impersonal online workouts that have been taking over screens since the beginning of the pandemic. With WRKOUT’s platform, users can enjoy live, one-on-one sessions in the comfort of their homes without sacrificing the connections they used to make with their fitness instructors.

What sets WRKOUT apart from other at-home fitness providers is the fact that its content is always live and never pre-recorded. The live, two-way communication between members (called MOVRS) and trainers (called TRNRS) fosters accountability and connection. WRKOUT’s proprietary software means that the system is perfectly equipped to handle at-home fitness sessions, unlike work-from-home video streaming solutions that aren’t geared towards the fitness industry. WRKOUT is looking forward to continuing to build its member base and encouraging more people to move every day with accessible coaching and personalized fitness from home.
