Sponsored by Businesswire

Zello, the world’s most popular push-to-talk service, today announced the company is expanding its Austin presence with a new downtown office at the Hartland Plaza office building located at 1717 W. 6th street. The company will inhabit the west side of the top floor, with more desk space, conference rooms, workspaces, and an outdoor patio — all of which will encourage collaboration and a team environment throughout the 14,000 square foot space.

“We’re very happy to move to our new offices,” said Bill Moore, CEO of Zello. “Zello’s service creates collaboration and human connection for deskless workers. This modern, open office does the same for our employees so they can remain innovative and productive.”

The office move comes on the heels of continued company growth over the last year, including the addition of key executive hires and increased traction with both its consumer and B2B offerings. In 2019, new customer acquisition has grown by 25% and the total number of app users has grown to 135 million. More recently, Built in Austin named Zello one of 2019’s “Best Places to Work.” With a strong product roadmap aimed at bolstering adoption of its enterprise-focused version of the solution, coupled with ongoing employee and revenue growth, the company has set the pace for ongoing success in the year ahead.

Zello connects its global user base with live voice through its push-to-talk (PTT)-solution. Zello is typically used by deskless, remote and frontline worker teams to communicate securely across multiple teams and locations over an expansive live communication range. The company also gives back to the community. In August, the company announced the launch of its “Save Lives” program, which makes the enterprise version of the app available at no cost to non-profit first responders, such as EMS workers, paramedics, firefighters, police, volunteer groups and more.
