Zipwhip, the leading provider of Texting for Business, was named the sixth-best workplace in Washington by the Puget Sound Business Journal in a new ranking based on anonymous employee reviews. Zipwhip placed in the extra-large business category, among companies with 250 employees and above.

To be recognized as one of the Top 100 Best Workplaces, Washington-based employees participated in an anonymous survey and answered questions that relate to career and work satisfaction across six categories including communication, trust in leadership and team dynamics. The survey, which analyzes how engaged employees are in their jobs, showed 99% of Zipwhip employees reported being engaged in their work. And when asked what word best describes their work environment, the top answer was, “fun.”

“Of the awards we’ve been fortunate to win recently, the ones recognizing Zipwhip as a phenomenal workplace mean the most to me,” said John Lauer, CEO and co-founder of Zipwhip. “We’re growing fast and changing as a company, but one thing we work hard to keep intact is our culture. Thank you to all of our Zipwhip employees for putting one another first, for building each other up and for working hard toward our shared goals.”

This ranking adds to a growing list of recognitions for the company in 2019, including awards celebrating Zipwhip’s culture, leadership and work environment:
