Integralis Ditches Name To Become NTT Com Security
Security VAR gets renamed by Japanese parent and launches WideAngle product rebranding
Pan-European security integrator Integralis has undergone a name change and will now be known as NTT Com Security, four years after Japanese parent company NTT Communications (NTT Com) acquired a majority stake.
The name change reflects the greater level of cooperation between the two entities, NTT Com announced. It said that the rebranding demonstrated a continuing commitment to the integrator and would allow it to continue to position itself as a “trusted advisor” to worldwide organisations looking to manage the impact of current and new drivers in business, such as Big Data, cloud, mobility, social networking and BYOD.

The rebranding will not result in any ownership changes and, with the exception of setting up NTT Com Security in Japan, there are no other management or other operational changes planned.
Integralis chief executive Simon Church said, “For us, the name change makes good business sense as the two companies become more closely aligned. We now have the opportunity to become the industry’s next information security and risk management powerhouse, especially with recent industry acquisitions.”
The firm also announced the launch of WideAngle, a single global brand for its information security and risk management portfolio of managed and professional services, consulting and technology products. NTT Communications and its affiliates will also adopt the WideAngle brand when pitching their security portfolio to customers.
Akira Arima, chief executive of NTT Com, said, “Integralis has become an integral part of NTT Com as our dedicated security arm over the past four years. As it becomes part of the NTT Com brand, it means we can continue to invest in information security skills, expertise and services, through the WideAngle brand, and also integrate into our Global Cloud Vision to provide secure global cloud services on a seamless, end-to-end basis.”
