Embotics strikes two distribution deals

Embotics Corporation has agreed two distribution deals, which will now allow its reseller partners to sell its virtualisation and private cloud management product.

The agreements with Prianto and BGS Netherlands means the company can now offer the  Embotics V-Commander product, which it claims will help customers see immediate savings through better management of their virtual estates.

According to the company, both Prianto and BGS Netherlands have a “great track record” in developing profitable and sustainable partner channels.

Colin Wright, vice president for EMEA at Embotics said it saw the pair as “key distribution partners” as the company moved to expand into the UK and Benelux markets.

He added that if resellers were going to achieve additional revenues from virtualisation in the future they needed to demonstrate added value to their customers.

“With Embotics V-Commander, resellers can help organisations to ensure operational efficiency and deliver cost and resource savings in a matter of weeks,” he claimed.

Prianto was set up to address the market need for specialised distribution focusing on identifying leading-edge technology vendors who can provide resellers with new complementary products that can give them a commercial edge. BGS Netherlands has 25 years’ experience in the enterprise hardware and software markets.

Embotics V-Commander is claimed to be installed and configured in minutes, providing a 360-degree view of virtual and private cloud environments. It offers a self-service functionality, which is claimed to enable users to provision VMs themselves and automate the end-to-end workflow process, while offering chargeback and IT cost analysis.

This can help resellers identify bottlenecks and inefficiencies in their virtual data centres while at the same time dramatically lowering the costs of deploying private clouds.
