Steljes appointed master distributor for multi-way whiteboard

Steljes has been appointed as the UK and Ireland master distributor for the SMART kapp iQ, the multi-way interactive display that combines the simplicity of a traditional whiteboard with the power of a 4K display.

The SMART kapp iQ enables multi-way “inking” between any combination of devices, anywhere in the world simultaneously, therefore “making this one of the most exciting new product innovations” from SMART Technologies “since the introduction of the original interactive whiteboard”, said the supplier.

The kapp iQ can be powered by smartphone or tablet. Whether used in a formal meeting room, break-out zone or classroom, it allows attendees to display content from their laptop or in-room device and project to the board. Participants can still ink and engage with the content from the board.

The SMART kapp app enables smartphones and tablets to be “paired” with the SMART kapp iQ board, so the content can be easily captured, saved and shared either during or after a meeting.

Neil Gaydon, CEO of SMART, said: “Steljes is the natural partner for this fantastic product in the UK & Ireland. They have immense regional expertise in both the education and enterprise markets.”

Martin Large, CEO of Steljes, said: “We are delighted to be appointed as the master distributor of this exciting reimagined digital display. SMART kapp iQ is about true multi-way collaboration and epitomises how new innovations in technology can really change the way people work together.”

The SMART kapp iQ is available as either a 55in or 65in display. Shipping of the SMART kapp iQ begins next month. No IT integration is necessary as it merely plugs into a standard power outlet.
