Farmers Business NetworkSM(FBN), the independent farmer-to-farmer network, today announced the new hires of Luiz Beling as US Country Manager for FBN Direct, Breen Neeser as Country Manager of FBN Canada, and Jack Cox as Vice President Global Fulfillment and Logistics.

These hires will help optimize the company’s commercial operations and supply chains helping reduce the cost of production for FBN’s fast growing network of over 12,000 farmers around the world while providing quality and timely service helping them get what they need, when they need it.

“Luiz, Breen, and Jack provide unparalleled expertise when it comes to the North American market, commercial operations, and logistics and fulfillment,” said Amol Deshpande, CEO and Co-Founder of FBN. “They are joining our team at a transformational moment for our company as we double down on investment in technologies that lower costs, improve transparency and create local community development opportunities in rural areas.”

Beling spent the past 20 years at Bayer (previously Monsanto) in senior sales and commercial roles across several different countries and regions. He’ll work to support US farmers through the company’s trusted e-commerce platform, FBN Direct.

“I’ve been very impressed with how FBN lives its mission of putting Farmer’s First into every decision made,” says Beling. “I’m excited to work with a team that has a clear vision, a well defined strategy and is willing to challenge the status quo on behalf of farmers.”’

Neeser, who previously served in executive roles at Agrinos and Nutrien, will look to enhance the success of Canadian farmers.

“Canadian Farmers are amongst the most innovative in the world,” says Neeser. “They want choice and options for their farm business. The FBN platform provides products and services to help maximize their yields.”

Cox brings over 20 years of supply chain logistics experience to FBN. The e-commerce logistics veteran spent the last 10 years at Amazon, Wayfair and most recently, Target.

“When I first started learning about FBN I was immediately impressed by the vision and mission of putting Farmers First,” says Cox. “Putting the customer first is critical to our success and I am thrilled to have the opportunity to be a part of the FBN team.”

The hires come as the company continues to build out a deep executive leadership team and Board of Directors. FBN named Guy Longworth as CMO in February and added Panera founder Ron Shaich to its Board earlier this month.
