ASG Technologies replaces regional offerings with global programme
Enterprise software vendor ASG Technologies is replacing its regional partner programmes with its first global partner programme.
ASG’s VP, alliances and channel sales, Wayne H. Monk, said the firm was “doubling down” on its commitment to the channel with the launch.
The programme caters for three types of partner: global outsourcers and systems integrators, solution providers with specific industry or technological expertise, and its growing base of Technology Alliance Partners (TAP), which offer complementary software solutions.
Monk told ChannelBiz UK that the new programme will provide partners with “generous margins on resale or fee on referral transactions.”
He said ASG also offers partners free sales and technical enablement, not-for-resell licences powered by cloud labs or installed in partners’ lab environments, marketing assistance, investment-based market development funds and collaboration with ACS’ professional services team.
The US vendor has around 80 partners globally, including 12 in EMEA, but the vendor isn’t looking to recruit many more new partners. “We are seeking to provide adequate coverage with very committed and competent partners they bring innovative solution or services offerings to complement our technology,” said Monk
In addition, ASG says it favours partners that bring “additional layers of innovation on top of ASG platforms”, citing Wipro as an example.
Wipro developed a full-service BCBS 239 compliance solution for financial institutions combining ASG’s Enterprise Data Intelligence solution with its own compliance accelerator tool. The global systems integrator also offers Data Lineage-as-a-service powered by ASG’s Enterprise Data Intelligence, giving customers “a complete managed services offering.”
