More security products under one channel roof

GFI has announced that it will significantly be expanding its OEM Partner Program.

The changes will allow partners and vendors to integrate GFI’s complete security and network management product portfolio into their products and services as well as rebrand as their own stand-alone offerings.

According to GFI, its OEM Partner Program allows vendors to quickly deploy technologies in a cost effective environment.

Julian Waits, vice president of GFI Software’s Advanced Technology Group, said: “There is no need for OEMs, ISVs or MSPs to invest their limited time and resources to develop new technologies outside their competency when GFI Software makes it so easy to integrate our products and services into their own.”

Waits added that OEM partner specialists worked with vendors of all sizes to help them benefit from GFI products, as well as claiming that through its One Plus One methodology, partners were guided step-by-step through the entire integration process.

GFI OEM partners are given to option of a range of software products, which the company claims can be marketed under their own branding.

This includes the company’s antivirus engine, firewall and other endpoint security capabilities powered by the latest threat definitions, remote management and collaboration and web security.

Other products include patch management, vulnerability management and device management.

In addition to the products, GFI also claims that it gives its partners dedicated sales, marketing, technical and business development support.

Technology companies participating in the GFI Software OEM Partner Program include Avanquest Software, Faronics Corp., FixMeStick, Impero, LabTech Software, Lavasoft, and RSA, The Security Division of EMC.
